It was clean and safe and worked fine for a place to sleep. For the right price, id consider staying again (it was $100+ cheaper than other options I looked at for this particular stay). The room was way smaller than I expected. I've stayed in a 220 sq ft room in NYC with a king bed that felt larger than this one did with a queen. And the bathroom had a weird unfinished aesthetic and was very challenging to navigate. (Plus didn't have a shower curtain; I'm sure I could have requested one at the front desk, but seems like a major thing to have been overlooked by housekeeping).
I stayed at The Crescent Hotel Beverly Hills, Sonder in February 2025, and I have to admit—before arriving, I was a bit nervous because I’d read some negative reviews. But after my stay, I honestly can’t understand why! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful from the start. The hotel itself is charming, clean, and tastefully decorated. My room was very comfortable and cozy, and everything felt well taken care of. The only downside is that there’s no elevator, so getting luggage up and down the stairs was a bit inconvenient—but really, it wasn’t a big deal in the end. I know LA is so spread out that there’s no perfect location for everyone—it depends on what you want to visit. That said, I really liked where the hotel was situated: just a few blocks from Rodeo Drive, in a quiet and safe area. There’s a Cheesecake Factory within walking distance, plus a few fancier restaurants as well. It’s also only about a 10-minute walk to a stop for the main hop-on hop-off buses, which made exploring the city super convenient. There’s also a lovely restaurant inside the hotel. I didn’t get the chance to eat there myself, but it looked great—definitely a nice option to have on-site. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!
Great location, good hotel if you plan to not be inside often! Showers are very small, my husband is 6’5 and barely fit. Rooms have fridges, great bed, and room was clean. No elevators, but it’s only two floors.
My teenage daughter & I stayed here for a night passing through town & it was perfect! The boutique hotel was very quaint & all the staff very kind. The room was small but clean & perfect for the two of us. The location was great & we walked to all the shopping spots & restaurants. The hotels restaurant was very cute & good too. I would stay here again for sure!
